| Skill Details: | This is a class for beginner quilters. You will learn the steps of quilt making from the very beginning. You do need to know the basics of using your sewing machine though. |
| Requirements: | Supplies may be purchased from Fabric Frenzy: Quick ‘n Easy 3-Yard Quilts book – Puzzel Me This 1 yard of 3 different, coordinating fabrics ½ yard extra of one of the fabrics for binding Twin size batting 505 basting spray Basic Required Supplies: Sewing machine in good working condition with a quarter inch foot and walking foot Sewing machine needles (80/12) Coordinating thread color for construction, quilting thread (could be the same as construction, however, it will be seen on all fabrics) Flat head straight pins Scissors Rotary Cutter, rotary mat 18 x 24, 6 ½ x 18 inch or longer rectangle ruler Sharpie, pencil, pen and note pad Blue painters tape Chacoliner (white or yellow) or hera marker Measuring tape Large Binder clips Optional supplies (Will be demonstrated and can be purchased later): Acorn Precision Piecing products Tucker Trimmer I Franklin Company Shortcut Binding Tool 20x 20 inch ruler |
